Visions of Atlantis ist eine �sterreichische Metal-Band, die sich zwischen Power Metal und Symphonic Metal einordnen l�sst. Besonderheit der im Stil stark an Bands wie Nightwish oder die �sterreichischen Kollegen von Edenbridge erinnernden Band ist es, dass fast alle Songs als Duett zwischen der weiblichen und der m�nnlichen Gesangsstimme arrangiert sind. Visions of Atlantis wurden im Jahr 2000 von Werner Fiedler, Mike Koren, Christian Stani, Thomas Caser und Chris Kamper gegr�ndet. Etwas sp�ter kam S�ngerin Nicole Bogner dazu. Im Jahr 2002 erschien dann das erste Studioalbum der Band mit dem Titel Eternal Endless Infinity. Der Visions of Atlantis-Song Lemuria aus dem Cast Away Album wurde von den Veranstaltern der Leichtathletik-Weltmeisterschaften 2011 in Daegu (Kor) f�r den Beginn der Medaillenzeremonien in Teilen als offizieller Song verwendet.

Fascinated by the myths surrounding Atlantis, Werner Fiedler, Mike Koren, Christian Stani and Chris Kamper decided in August 2000 to create a band inspired by the enigma of the lost city. Later that summer, Nicole Bogner joined the project to complete Visions of Atlantis� In 2005 Nicole Bogner, Werner Fiedler, and Miro Holly left the band to be replaced by soprano Melissa Ferlaak (ex-Aesma Daeva), guitarist Wolfgang Koch, and keyboardist Martin Harb. 
Visions of Atlanits’s Trinity has evolved to exploit the musical extremes. Hymn-like tracks, such as 'Seven Seas', meet the more rock-oriented songs like 'Passing Dead End' and 'The Secret', while the more contemporary elements and rhythms found in 'Darkside Home' give way to the tuned-down guitardominated 'Through My Eyes' or 'Wing-shaped Heart'.
