[img(width=316 height=60)]links/images/splogo.jpg[/img] Die Band wurde 1981 von den drei Musikern Leee John (Gesang), Ashley Ingram (Gitarre, Bass) und Errol Kennedy (Schlagzeug) gegründet. Zu Beginn der 80er Jahre hatte die Band Top-Ten-Hits wie Body Talk, Just an Illusion, Music 'n Lights und New Dimension. Sie gaben sich den Bandnamen "Imagination" in Anlehnung an John Lennons Hit "Imagine". The producers duo Tony Swain and Steve Jolley curved a special dance music style for Imagination: typical bass loops, slow rhythms and vocal arrangements. It is very nice music to listen to or even pre lounge music. It can be called sensual, but in overall really Imagination. Very recognizable. This is the best Imagination album of all. The biggest hit was "Just An Illusion" (recently sampled by Mariah Carey on "Get Your Number") later followed by "Music And Lights" and "Changes". The most fastest song is "Heart And Soul" and there are some good ballads like "All Night Loving" and "One More Love".
