Reggae

Sly & Robbie sind ein jamaikanisches Musiker- und Produzenten-Duo, bestehend aus dem Schlagzeuger Sly Dunbar und dem Bassisten und Keyboarder Robert Shakespeare. Das Duo ist insbesondere für seine Reggae- und Dub-Produktionen bekannt und prägte maßgeblich die Reggae-Rhythmen der 1970er und 1980er Jahre. Sly & Robbie bildeten über Jahre hinweg die Rhythmusgruppe der jamaikanischen Reggae-Band Black Uhuru. Weiterhin wirkten Sie an Alben von Peter Tosh, Gregory Isaacs, Culture und vielen anderen Reggae-Interpreten mit.

The Dub Battle will feature a who&#y92;s who of Dub&#y92;s elite class of producers including Lee &#y93;Scratch&#y94; Perry, Scientist, King Jammy, Mad Professor, Don Camel, Dennis Bovell, along with two unreleased tracks from the originator King Tubby added to the project by the late Bunny &#y91;Striker&#y92; Lee who contributes a posthumous last dub version of his incredible career.
