Even before the album was released, the band was booked for festivals like the Bay Festival and PiP picnic in the park. It takes a little while to stand out in the flora of bands that will mark the genre in Norway, but it solves Northern Belle by making sounds and lyrics impossible to overlook. Now that the American Kacey Musgraves has given the country genre some extra boots in the back, Northern Belle is just what it takes to give Ida Jenshus a little backing here.
