This is probably one of the more accessible works to come out of the 90s progressive era, both from a standpoint of general consumption and specifically for anyone that leans a bit more towards an 80s mindset when it comes to their metal. It hearkens back to a time when the guitar wasn't being used as an extension of the drums or even a stand-in for the bass when the shredding solos didn't chime in, and the riffing style has a bit more in common with Chris DeGarmo and maybe George Lynch [color=#FF0000]1.
