[img]links/images/splogo.jpg[/img] [center][url=https://postimages.org/][img(width=500 height=388)]https://i.postimg.cc/Ls97GrfD/000.jpg[/img][/url][/center] Krautrock Ash Ra Tempel (ab 1977 nur noch Ashra) ist eine Berliner Band, die im Jahr 1970 von Manuel Göttsching, Hartmut Enke und Klaus Schulze gegründet wurde. Anfang der 1970er Jahre galt die Band neben Tangerine Dream, Agitation Free, Guru Guru, Can und anderen als Speerspitze des sogenannten Krautrocks. Sehr früh setzte die Band neben Gitarren auch Synthesizer ein. Stilistisch ist die Band der Berliner Schule zuzurechnen, wenn der Schwerpunkt auch mehr auf den Gitarren als auf den Synthesizern lag. Unofficial Release, Recorded live at Salle Wagrem in Paris, France on December 6th, 1974 This is all duo live work of Mr. Gottsching and Lutz Ulbrich (Agitation Free), guitar(s) and synth. Similar to Le Berceau de Cristal and Inventions for Electric Guitar (which both followed in 1975) in vibe, though more guitar-led than some of the former, on which Mr. Ulbrich also filled out the "band" as a duo during this transition between ART's Join Inn and Starring Rosi and the Cosmic Jokers recordings before, and Ashra there forward (with Ulbrich returning '78-'80). The sound is bootleg quality, and although thin at times, the music tends to be surprisingly engaging as evolving background music. "In the Deep" has some nice charm for this brain. In general I like this slightly more than Inventions for Electric Guitar. Worth exploring for the Kosmische aficionado, though AFTER Join Inn, New Age of Earth, Blackouts, Cosmic Jokers and Le Berceau De Cristal.
