I have always been a fan of country music as far back as I can remember. Some of the songs in this collection are not neccesarily country songs, but they all remind me of my formative years and they all tell a good story. Some of these tunes were not an easy sell to make into reggae songs, but the grooves speak for themselves , and are worthy of the excellent songwriting by country icons like Vince Gill, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Eddie Rabbit, Stephen Stills, Harry Chapin, John Fogerty, Marc Cohn, and the others. This project is also a good example that a good song can be translated to any genre.
