Funk

Mutiny is Jerome Eugene "Bigfoot" Brailey (born August 20, 1950) who is an American drummer, best known for his work with P-Funk, which included the bands Parliament, Funkadelic, and numerous related projects. Brailey is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, inducted in 1997 with fifteen other members of Parliament-Funkadelic.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just recently listed the 50 greatest drummers in the Hall naming Jerome Bigfoot #48, revealing his drum style kept Parliament-Funkadelic rooted in the old-school, James Brown-style funk on tracks like "Handcuffs", "Do That Stuff" and the Funk anthem "Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof Off the Sucker)".

Started his carreer with the 5 stairsteps signing family, this drummer was the funkiest i ever heard! Also a producer and arranger! Brought this talented group of musicians after his spilt with george clinton over financial reasons! Started his mutiny on the mamaship! A great and funky debut and 2nd albums! And the funk lives on with these 2 classics!
Musically speaking? These albums share the strong, phat rhythmic thickness of classic P-Funk. Yet without a lot of Clinton's eccentricity. They have a strong rock guitar element to a lot of them. But the grooves are full bodied funk with a total sense of instrumental clarity.
