Dieses Projekt, 1989 von Renzo Tellez ins Leben gerufen, ist ein Meisterwerk d�sterer Kl�nge. Nach einer 32-j�hrigen Pause wurde beschlossen, die Vision von Gothic Rock neu zu beleben. Die brandneue 'Krampus: Christmas EP' liefert genau das: Tracks, die dich unweigerlich dazu bringen, deine Christbaumkugeln gegen schwarze Kerzen einzutauschen. Musikalisch bewegt sich die EP zwischen melancholischem Gothic Rock und fast cineastischen Klanglandschaften. Es ist, als h�tte jemand die d�stersten Legenden Europas genommen, sie in einen Kessel geworfen und daraus einen finsteren Weihnachtspunsch gebraut.

Krampus, in central European popular legend, a half-goat, half-demon monster that punishes misbehaving children at Christmastime.
With dark fur, wild eyes, and a large tongue, Krampus punishes bad children with birch rods, or sometimes carries them to hell in his sack.

Mari Lwyd, an eerie Welsh yuletide custom involving a large horse’s skull adorned with ribbons and draped with a white sheet. Mari Lwyd knocks at your door engaging in a battle of wits through rhyme and song. When the skeletal ghostly horse wins, Mari is granted access to your home for merrymaking, drinking spirits while scaring your children.

Baba Yaga, an ogress witch from Slavic folklore usually portrayed as an old woman who lives in a wooden house with a fence topped with human skulls. Baba Yaga flies through the night sky in a mortar and pestle, hunting for bad children to cook and eat with the ability to shape-shift.

Frau Perchta, the German Austrian legend "Spinnstubenfrau" who roams and haunts the winter countryside during the twelve days of Christmas. She carries a long knife hidden under her skirt. If you were a good soul, Perchta would visit you as a beautiful woman and leave you a coin. If you were a bad lazy soul, the old hag Perchta would slit your belly, rip your organs out and stuff you with straw and stones.
