     ��� funniest serious band. "Defiant irony" is probably the best way���
     ��� to describe the trio's approach to the increasingly loud       ���
     ��� background noise of current world events. The title of the new ���
     ��� album "Mein bestes Selbst" (My Best Self) is, unsurprisingly,  ���
     ��� meant to be "87 percent ironic". At the same time, however, the���
     ��� songs themselves somehow also contain the completely unironic  ���
     ��� promise that, as a human being, you are already exactly right  ���
     ��� by default and only need to direct this rightness into the     ���
     ��� appropriate channels...                                        ���
