Subsequent to the Fantastic Voyage album, Lakeside would go on to release six more successful ones. More hits on the R&B charts kept the group going until their change in the late 1980s. Lakeside had R&B hits such as "Raid"(1983), "Outrageous"(1984).[3] But New Jack Swing Boom was coming, so "Bullseye"(1987) was their last R&B hit. Keep On Moving Straight Ahead is the fifth album by American funk band Lakeside. Working in their own unique version of earlier funk modes -- almost a tightening up of the Funkadelic style of the late 70s! The basslines are very much in charge, but like the George Clinton groups, they also have a great way of really bringing everything together at once -- sly vocals, riffing guitar, sweet keyboards, and everything else that comes to groove -- all hitting right on the money on titles that include "It's You", "Be My Lady", "All For You", "Anything For You", and "We Want You (On The Floor)" Keep On Moving Straight Ahead 4:39 It's You 5:02 Be My Lady 6:13 It's Got To Be Love 3:51 We Want You (On The Floor) 6:30 Back Together Again 4:34 Anything For You 5:21 All For You 3:49 Keep On Moving Straight Ahead (12_ Version) We Want You (On the Floor) (7_ Version) mp3 320
