Mai 1946 in Wimborne Minster) ist ein englischer Gitarrist und Komponist. Er ist Gründungsmitglied und einziges konstantes Mitglied der Progressive-Rock-Gruppe King Crimson. Robert Fripp is no stranger to creating ambient soundscapes. He is one of the early pioneers & the inventor of "Frippertronics." (Google it.) His numerous passages in the prog rock kingdom of King Crimson & his work with Brian Eno in the 70s. The nature of this releases is its minimalist structuring.
