In Europe, her biggest selling record is the anthemic "You Got the Love" from 1986, released in collaboration with the Source. Staton was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame. Staton is a four-time Grammy Award nominee. The 32nd album, Back to My Roots features fresh takes on classics by The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, and Al Green, alongside heartfelt originals. A standout track is her soulful duet with STAX legend William Bell. “These songs represent my roots,” Staton adds as she reflects on her many trials and triumphs. “Even the new songs on some level represent something I’ve experienced and that’s what real soul music is about.” [color=#FF0000]1.
