In the early 1980s, she worked with the afro soul group Osibisa. She is best known for her hit single "Say I'm Your Number One" which made the UK Top 10 in 1985. The second album by former Osibisa member Princess did moderately well, but didn't equal the dance and club success she had enjoyed with her debut. The single "Red Hot" got a mild reaction, but she sounded less emphatic and inspired on most of the tracks.
