It spawned her first big hit, "La Vie en rose". Wonderful disco record from 1977. Brilliant dance version of Send in the Clowns was a feature of most great parties from that year. The songs and sounds are typically from the disco-era with the strings and voice arrangements and drum sounds that identify immediately from which era this album came from. It is no secret that Jones was more than a voice, she was a personality and a visual entity with amazing strength. Underrated. Excellent LP.
