Gegründet 1984 hatte die Gruppe bis heute massig Musiker verschlissen. Anfangs dabei En Esch und der britische Sänger Raymond Watts. KMFDM war eine der Bands, denen es gelang Industrial Musik in den Mainstream einzuschleusen. Konietzko bezeichnet seine Musik als "The Ultra-Heavy Beat". Heavy Metal Guitarriffs, Electronicmusic, Samples, und männlicher als auch weiblicher Gesang werden zu einem elektronischen Cocktail vermischt. Let Go is the 23rd studio album by German industrial band KMFDM. this album which works off Disco groove, and Rock syncopation all in the same songs, so thinking of this as your parent’s kinky sex soundtrack is not off the mark.
