Simone Kermes (* 17. Mai 1965 in Leipzig) ist eine deutsche Opern-, Operetten-, Lied- und Konzerts�ngerin in der Stimmlage Sopran.
Vivica Genaux (* 10. Juli 1969 in Fairbanks (Alaska)) ist eine US-amerikanische Opern- und Konzerts�ngerin, die f�r ihre virtuosen Interpretationen als Koloratur-Mezzosopran ber�hmt ist.

Ein Barock-Projekt mit einer zweiten S�ngerin. Diese CD ist, wie alle bisher mit Simone Kermes erschienenen Solo-CD's, vollgestopft mit wunder, wundersch�nen Barock-Arien, die immer leidenschaftlich und kein bisschen altmodisch klingen.
Simone Kermes und die mit mehreren Echo Klassik Preisen ausgezeichnete Mezzo-Sopranistin Vivica Genaux wandeln mit dieser spannenden CD auf den Spuren von zwei legend�ren Primadonnen des 18.Jahrhunderts: Die verfeindeten S�ngerinnen Francesca Cuzzoni und Faustina Bordoni wurden ber�hmt durch ihre fabelhaften s�ngerischen Leistungen und durch den ber�hmtesten Streit der Operngeschichte, als sie sich am 6.Juni 1927 in London auf offener B�hne des King´s Theatres in die Haare gerieten.
